Jean Snead Jobson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 under the care of Savannah Specialty Care and Hospice of Savannah. At this time the family would like to thank both agencies for the care and compassion shown, especially Lakendra Bacon and Shawanda Walker of Savannah Specialty Care and Debbie Baugus of Hospice Savannah. Their kindness and concern for Jean was most appreciated by the family, thank you.
Jean spent most of her adult life as a housewife and professionally in the restaurant, catering and baking business. Her professional legacy includes the transformation of a soda fountain at Clary's Drug Store into what is now Clary's Restaurant.
Survivors include a most special friend, Karen Langston of Savannah; nephew, James McQuillan of Savannah; grandson, Sean Collins of West Palm Beach, FL; son and daughter-in-law, James and Lorie Collins of Newington, GA. Her love and kindness will forever be cherished by all who came in contact with her.
Graveside Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
